I call this episode a mini-episode because Jocey Rodriguez, L.Ac. fills in for me since I got sick over the weekend and lost some of my voice.
Jocey talks about painful periods and periods that start and stop. This is her flying solo and I thought she did a fantastic job.
I do want to follow up in a future episode to offer more explanation about blood stagnation and what it means because it's a new term for many of you and it may cause some confusion.

Happy Thanksgiving to those listeners in the United States and Happy Thursday to those from around the world!
I feel like the practice of gratitude is so underrated as one of the ways to boost emotional health. It's also so over-used that I think a lot of people just roll their eyes now and don't really believe that it does anything.
On this day when it's customary to give thanks and think about what we're grateful, I'm going to talk to you about how the practice of gratitude can boost your health and fertility, backed by scientific studies.
I also want to challenge you to start the practice daily rather than wait for that one holiday a year to express it. I'm going to start a gratitude journal today for myself and I hope you'll join me.
I've been battling a sinus infection, but fighting it off naturally without medications. Find out what I've been doing and how they can help with fertility.

OK, let's face it... B.O is the ultimate social life killer. But smelling great doesn't mean you have to sacrifice your health. Deodorants are loaded with hormone disrupting chemicals, and it's frankly one of the hardest products to find without any toxic chemicals. There is one solution though...that is to make your own.
Today, my special guest, friend and fellow Fertility Acupuncturist Jocey Rodriguez shares with us her secret recipe to make your own deodorant. Trust me, I'm not a DIY person, but her recipe is so simple, a five-year old can probably do it.
What we put on our bodies are just as important as what we put in our bodies. Diet and lifestyle changes sometimes are not enough. Environmental toxins are alive and well around us. Even if you don't make your own skincare, at least consider swapping out certain products.
